I will take you up on your invitation to speak my mind. Trying to figure out if you are a bar or a “cigar bar”. Like to come down in the early afternoon for a beer and a cigar. Cigar smoking by nature is to be a relaxing experience. Unfortunetely the blaring (and I mean loud) music makes it impossible to have a conversation without yelling, let alone relax. For some reason, the bartenders often refuse to turn the volume down to a backround level. I get it on a friday night, big crowd, the buzz etc. But on an afternoon when there are a douzen people or less it makes no sense. We have a large contingent of cigar smokers who would love to join us but refuse because of the bar atmosphere. Are you a bar or a “cigar bar”?
Are you referring to our Lincoln or Omaha location?
My friend Mike L and I, stopped by your Lincoln location for a Cigar and Beer about 2 p.m. on a Fri. afternoon. I spent a total of $40- $45. We asked, please turn the music down, so that we could hear each other across the booth, no luck, I would think at this time of day your bartender would be more accommodating.
Will there be a 2nd annual Benson Beerfest in 2013? If so, when will it be and will volunteers be needed again this year? Thanks.
Yes, on Sat. June 1. And yes we will need volunteers. It’ll be posted at bensonbeerfest.com when ready.
